Nutmeg Statewide PTA
Distinguished Leadership Citation

The Nutmeg Statewide PTA (NSPTA) Annual Distinguished Leadership Citation was established in 1991 at the NSPTA Annual Meeting.

To be eligible, one must be an NSPTA member or past/present CT PTA Board of Directors member whose services have had a major influence on NSPTA or a commission/committee or the entire Board of Directors while representing the association. The recipient must exhibit exemplary leadership and professionalism in service to, or in the promotion of, CT PTA through association activities.

The award is presented at CT PTA Annual Convention by the NSPTA President or his/her designee.  A plaque is given to the recipient, and a master plaque will hang in CT PTA office with each recipient’s name and year of award listed.

Jan A. Krampitz, NSPTA member and CT PTA VP- Membership, former Mayor of Terryville and CTPTA Region Director is the unanimous choice for this award. She has served many years on the CT PTA Board of Directors demonstrating her great interest in children’s wellbeing and their education.
